In the rainy season the walls are often become damp and prone with mold. In addition for being unsightly, the color of the wall paint will peel off and if left untreated, it will become even more thin. Humid walls will also cause unpleasant odors, so that not only damage the appearance of the house, damp walls can endanger health. To overcome and avoid damp and moldy walls, you can use the Hydrostop as skimcoat to solve damp walls!
According to Antony Kostka, GM Commerce of PT. Adhi Cakra Utama Mulia, "Hydrostop with Polycrystalline Technology is able to hold water from all sides, both from the side that is direct contact with water (positive side) and that is not direct contact with water (negative side)". Hydrostop application is very easy like applied skimcoatin general and can be applied for the outer walls of the huse that are often exposed to rain and for the inner walls. At the end the result is same, the walls are free of leaks and moisture.
The application method is as follows:
- If using fora new wall, wet the plaster age 3 days. As for the use of damp walls, the method is to peel off the fragile stucco and then plaster it again. If the stucco is in good condition, peel off the old paint and stick it out.
- Mix and stir until evenly 1 bag of Hydrostop with water until it gets the desired consistency
- Apply the Hydrostop mixture like a plaster
- Wet and keep the Hydrostop application moisturised for 2 days
- Perform painting after the wall is completely dry (14 days after Hydrostop coating)
- Use Aquaproof waterproof coating paint on the outer walls to protect the walls completely from seepage
For that, don't wait until the walls of your house are damp and moldy! Use a Hydrostop as a plaster that will crystallize water that enters the cracks in the walls of the house so that the house is free from seepage, not easy to rot, damp and moldy.
